In the previous VGR days, I started a topic about Brawl Snapshots. It was where members posted their OWN Brawl pictures they have taken or funny ones that they found on the web.
Now, I am going to resurrect that topic from the grave. This is the return... of BRAWL PIX! Yes, please post your favorite Brawl Pix here. Thank you.
But many times people across the web tried to figure out, "How the heck am I supposed to upload Brawl Pictures?"
Well, all you need is a SD, SD card reader attached to your computer, and you are good. It's just that the pictures are ".bin" files, which is not support by a lot of converters. It's just a bunch of numbers and commands.
But there's a way to convert those files into image files. Here are the directions:
(1) Save all the Brawl Snapshots you want to upload onto your SD card. You can go to "ALBUM" under "VAULT" in Brawl and just do the moving
(2) Take your SD out of the Wii.
(3) Then, take your SD Card and plug it into your computer.
(4) Use the following links to find out how to convert these pictures!
To have others view images from VGR and/or other sources on the web, use the ideas below:Brawl Snapshot DecrypterI tried this before, and it worked out well! All you need is to access your SD card, and get the date of when that picture was taken. So here's a path example: "I:/private/RSBE/al/al__________". http://xane.gamez-interactive.de/Brawl/Decrypter/Brawl Picture Converting SoftwareI mostly use this since it can take batches of pictures and converts them into Bitmap, PNG or JPEG at a extremely face speed! I converted all 241 ".bin" files in just 5 minutes!
I got the software from the website http://ssbb.l0nk.org/. It is a good site. Just download the zip there. Just remember, it was from http://ssbb.l0nk.org/, and was claimed to be done by "GTCoder". It works pretty well!http://ssbb.l0nk.org/To have others view your pictures from their Wii:Just copy the Brawl Pix from your SD Card into a folder and "zip" it! Then, go attach it to your next post on VGRecordist. This is where people can download the folder, copy its contents and save it to their "al" folder in their SD Card! Yes... they can view it from their "Album" in the VAULT.
You can find your pix in your SD Card at:
(Your SD Card) > private > wii > app > RSBE > al
And make sure you still keep the Brawl Pictures as ".bin" files as you "zip" them into a folder!
